Porches & Pies Festival Bake-Off 2020 Contestant Entry
Nothing says Southern hospitality like a fresh baked pie. Adair Park is thrilled to invite you to our 6th annual Porches & Pies Bake-off. Come showcase your baking skills! A jury of local celebrities will judge the entries in sweet and savory categories for both professional and home baker teams.
Will your pies take top prize?
After the judging all festival attendees will be invited to taste your pies. This event will be held rain or shine.
How much pie do I need to bake?
Pies should be in 9-inch pie pans (or equivalent). Home/hobby bakers bring three (3) pies and professional contestants bring five (5) pies. Pies are all the same flavor to provide enough for judging and tasting by attendees.
What else do I need to bring?
You may wish to bring a tent, no more than 10-feet wide.
We encourage you to decorate! We’ve seen everything from simple tablecloths to lend the perfect pie backdrop, to full-on themed tents.
What does the festival provide?
One (1) 6-foot table, 2 chairsTasting cups and mini spoons, napkinsSharpies to mark guests’ tasting passports
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Can I promote my business at my table?
Yes! Bakers are encouraged to decorate their space in any way you’d like. We’ve seen tents transformed into scenes from Harry Potter, diner themes, all-out fall festive decor, and more! It’s all up to you. And, professional baking teams are welcome to make their marketing materials available to festival attendees as well.
When does registration open?
Bake-off registration opens on 3.14.20 (Pi Day!) at a reduced rate. Entry fees increase May 31.
What’s the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes! Feel free to register with the best information you have, and update it later (e.g., team name, social media details, etc.)
