Job Description
- Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures
- Answers phones and receives order from referral sources
- Coordinates all patient information and processes paperwork, including preparation of the file for the billing department
- Do warranties on any equipment that is necessary
- Assists in resolving customer equipment problems and documents problems in the complaint log
- Performs over the counter sales
- Monitors office supply levels and makes sure orders are placed in a timely manner
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of current home care products, services, and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursement
- Monitors and records patient’s physician and referral source communications in the chart. Notifies personnel of a particular service or response, within the scope of their responsibilities, if required
- Provides recommendations to callers and walk-in patients regarding supplies and equipment, which can be utilized to meet patient’s needs
- Secures Certificates of Medical Necessity, with assistance from Marking Representative.
- Responsible for follow up phone calls to new customers
- Educate the patient on the equipment they are receiving
- Schedule deliveries
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Insurance: 1 year (Preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License:
- CNA (Required)

Job Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
- Record customer information within our customer service database
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
- Other duties as requested
